The ACE CREDIT College and University Network

Information for Institutions

The American Council On Education’s ACE CREDIT College and University Network is a group of more than 2,000 higher education institutions that consider ACE CREDIT recommendations and other credit for prior learning options for transfer to degree programs.

The ACE CREDIT program helps adults gain access to academic credit for formal courses and examinations taken outside traditional degree programs.

By recognizing ACE credit recommendations, institutions within the College and University Network help advance students’ postsecondary success.

The Network also provides assistance to individual institutions and statewide systems by offering templates, resources, and webinars on ACE credit recommendations, credit for prior learning, and degree completion programs. Visit ACE CREDIT College and University Partnerships to learn more. The ACE CREDIT system administrators can be contacted at credit@acenet.edu or via phone at 202-939-9434.

Information for Students

Students who have received ACE credit recommendations for training completed through Ledet Training may be able to obtain transfer credit at a college or university.

Find colleges and universities that consider ACE credit recommendations for military and/or workforce training.

REMEMBER: Each institution has the sole discretion to determine whether it will accept ACE credit recommendations. Before starting the application process, be sure to contact the institution’s admissions office to ask about their transfer policies.

Students should also learn more about the requirements for the degree program they want to pursue and how their credit recommendations could apply, typically by discussing the ACE CREDIT program with their student advisor.

The ACE CREDIT system administrators can be contacted at credit@acenet.edu or via phone at 202-939-9434.
